The Board of the EAAE invites bids to organise the EAAE Congress
The congresses will continue the tradition of previous events held in Parma (2017), Prague (2021), Rennes (2023), and Bonn (2025). They should follow a similar format, including the time of the year. However, there are two important changes: the duration of the congress will now be from Tuesday lunchtime until Friday lunchtime, and there will be no excursions. Innovative ideas for the organisation and administration of the Congress are welcome and will be considered during the bidding process.
The organisation of a congress is a collaborative effort between the EAAE Board, the Local Organising Committee (which will be established as part of the bid), and the Programme Committee. A formal contract will outline the respective responsibilities and obligations between the EAAE Board and the successful bidder.
All proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Overall costs to participants (40%)
- Expertise and involvement of the Local Organising Committee (20%)
- Attractiveness of the region/location, congress site, and social program (20%)
- Sustainability issues (20%)
